DON® discharge hose for cement and dry bulk materials

The soft suction hose is designed for efficient pneumatic transport of dry bulk materials, offering exceptional durability and flexibility even in larger diameters with minimal wall thickness, remaining nearly flat when not in use. Its inner layer is made of smooth, black, antistatic NR/SBR rubber (R < 10⁶ Ω), highly resistant to abrasion (70±5 mm³ according to ISO 4649), ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding conditions. Reinforced with a robust synthetic cord, the hose maintains excellent structural integrity under working pressures from 5 to 6 bar, depending on diameter. The outer layer, also crafted from antistatic, abrasion-resistant NR/SBR rubber, provides superior resistance to weathering and ozone, making it reliable in outdoor applications. Ideal for the transfer of cement, sand, gravel, silica, and other abrasive dry materials from rail and road tankers or silos, it guarantees safe and efficient operation. Available in standard lengths of 60 m, with the option of 120 m upon request, this hose operates seamlessly in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C. Versions marked with XE feature an upgraded inner layer of high-abrasion-resistant antistatic rubber (50 mm³ according to ISO 4649) and integrated copper wire, offering enhanced durability and safety for the most demanding industrial environments.
