SILICAFLEX BLANKET is a high-performance thermal protection solution designed to safeguard hoses, cables, and sensitive components from molten metal splashes, extreme radiant heat, open flames, and welding sparks. Made from over 96% pure silica fiber, it combines outstanding heat resistance with flexibility and minimal shrinkage, ensuring long-lasting reliability even in the most demanding industrial environments. The material is completely smoke- and fume-free, making it safe for use in confined or sensitive areas. Available in three practical versions—SILICAFLEX BLANKET 18 (0.76 mm), SILICAFLEX BLANKET 32 (1.25 mm), and SILICAFLEX BLANKET 36 (1.27 mm)—and supplied in rolls of 915 mm or 1525 mm width, it offers versatile application options. For even greater protection, the aluminized SILICAFLEX BLANKET (FQSFB36-36AL) adds a reflective aluminum coating that not only deflects intense radiant heat but also enhances resistance to tearing, abrasion, water, and oil. With an operating temperature of up to +982°C and short-term resistance up to +1650°C, SILICAFLEX BLANKET delivers superior performance where safety and durability are critical.
