The universal quick coupling socket with valve DN5.8, available with either external or internal BSP thread, is engineered in compliance with the TEMA 1300N standard and is especially valued in the Scandinavian market. Designed with a double shut-off system, it ensures maximum safety and prevents fluid leakage during disconnection, making it ideal for applications with water, steam, oils, and fuels. Its compact dimensions combined with high flow capacity and excellent corrosion resistance guarantee reliable performance even in demanding environments. Manufactured from nickel- and chrome-plated brass or durable AISI 316 stainless steel, the coupling delivers a flow rate of 13.5 l/min for water (Δp = 1 bar, Kv = 0.81) and up to 760 l/min for air (Pe = 6 bar, Δp = 0.5 bar). With a working pressure of 50 bar (10 bar for steam) and sealing options in NBR or Viton, it offers versatility across a wide range of operating conditions. The temperature resistance spans from -20°C to +100°C with NBR and from -25°C to +200°C with Viton, ensuring dependable functionality in both standard and extreme applications. For optimal performance, couplings of series 1300N should not be combined with series 1300.
