Electric Soft-Start Valve VAP 100 SKILLAIR® with External Pilot Supply, No End Plates

The soft start valve is designed to ensure a safe and controlled introduction of compressed air into pneumatic systems, effectively protecting actuators from sudden pressure surges and extending the overall service life of the installation. In the electrically controlled version, when no pilot pressure is applied, the airflow is gradually introduced from the inlet to the outlet through a precision needle valve, allowing the system to build pressure smoothly and reliably. Once an external electrical signal is received, the valve switches to full opening mode, enabling unrestricted airflow through the entire cross-section for maximum efficiency. Unlike standard solutions, this valve does not vent the pneumatic system, ensuring stable operation and preventing unnecessary energy loss. With a compact size of 100, a supply pressure capacity of up to 10 bar, and an operating temperature range up to +50°C, it guarantees versatile use in various industrial environments.
