FUEL HARDWALL® Suction & Discharge Hose for Offshore Oil Rig Use
This heavy-duty offshore hose is engineered for the safe and efficient transfer of crude oil, petrochemical products, and drilling cuttings containing up to 50% aromatic compounds. Its inner layer, crafted from a smooth black NBR/PVC blend, ensures excellent resistance to hydrocarbons, while the robust reinforcement of synthetic cord and steel spiral provides outstanding durability and flexibility under demanding conditions. Integrated copper wires guarantee electrical continuity between hose ends when properly connected, enhancing operational safety. The outer layer, made of flame-retardant CR rubber, offers superior resistance to oil, seawater, abrasion, and harsh weather, making it ideal for offshore platforms and equally reliable in onshore applications. Designed to perform in extreme environments, the hose operates within a temperature range of -20°C to +90°C and withstands working pressures from 17 to 20 bar, depending on diameter. For projects requiring even greater performance, higher-pressure versions up to 35 bar are available on request, with certified tensile strength and ABS type approval for complete assemblies. Trusted on North Sea drilling platforms, this hose delivers proven reliability, long service life, and uncompromising safety in the most challenging industrial operations.
