Does the Pneumatic 5/3 Monostable Diverter Valve, 70 Series support mounting directly on actuators or connection blocks?

Yes. The Pneumatic 5/3 Monostable Diverter Valve, 70 Series supports mounting directly on actuators or on connection blocks, as well as inline or on walls, providing flexible installation options for varied system designs.

Can the Pneumatic 5/3 Monostable Diverter Valve, 70 Series withstand continuous operation at pressures near its 10 bar limit without accelerated wear?

The Pneumatic 5/3 Monostable Diverter Valve, 70 Series is rated for working pressures up to 10 bar and is built with a durable aluminum body, nickel‑plated aluminum slider, and NBR seals, which supports reliable operation near its rated limit. However, continuous operation consistently near 10 bar will generally accelerate wear compared with operation at moderate pressures. Factors increasing wear at high continuous pressure include greater mechanical stress on the slider and seals, higher internal leakage risk, and more frequent thermal and fatigue cycles. To maximize service life under near‑limit continuous use, follow manufacturer recommendations: ensure proper filtration and lubrication of the pneumatic supply, maintain operating temperature within −10°C to +60°C, perform regular inspection and seal replacement intervals, and avoid pressure spikes above 10 bar. If your application requires sustained operation at or very close to 10 bar, consider selecting a valve with a higher pressure rating or consulting the manufacturer for duty‑cycle guidance and validated long‑term performance data.
