The bimetallic thermometer with rear sensor, manufactured in compliance with EN 13190, is designed for precise temperature measurement of liquids, vapors, and gases in industrial installations, especially within heating systems. Its robust construction ensures fast response to temperature fluctuations, while the clear, easy-to-read scale guarantees convenient operation even in demanding environments. The device is mounted using a screwed protective cover with external thread, which not only shields the sensor but also enables quick replacement of the thermometer without interrupting the process, as the instrument is simply pressed into the cover. For optimal accuracy, at least half of the sensor length should remain immersed in the medium being measured. Available in galvanized steel housing with glass window and brass sensor components, the thermometer is also offered in a stainless steel SS version with IP65 dust-tight protection for enhanced durability. With nominal diameters of 63 mm or 100 mm, housing protection class IP41, accuracy class 2, and sensor lengths of 50, 80, or 100 mm, it adapts to a wide range of applications. The cover withstands up to 160 bar pressure and features a GW BSP 1/2″ connection, while the broad measuring range from -30°C to +400°C ensures reliable performance across diverse industrial processes.
