VOLGA FRA-ABR® hose for transferring cement, sand, and gravel
This exceptionally durable suction-discharge hose is engineered for the reliable transport of both wet and dry abrasive materials, ensuring maximum performance even in the most demanding industrial environments. Its thick, smooth, antistatic inner layer made of abrasion-resistant NR/SBR rubber (70 mm³ according to ISO 4649) guarantees long service life, while the integrated copper wire safely dissipates electrostatic charges when grounded. Reinforced with a synthetic cord and steel spiral, the hose withstands high mechanical stress, offering a working pressure of 10 bar and vacuum resistance up to 0.9 bar. The corrugated EPDM outer layer provides excellent resistance to weather conditions and ozone, making it suitable for outdoor and long-term use. Designed for heavy-duty applications, it efficiently handles abrasive mixtures with water as well as dry substances such as cement, sand, gravel, or seeds. Its flexibility allows bending to a relatively small radius, while maintaining structural strength, and it can be easily cut and fitted on-site with PN10 flange fittings using the VOLGA FRA system. With an operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C, this hose is the ideal solution for bulk material handling in ports, mining operations, construction and demolition projects, chemical industry processes, dewatering tasks, as well as dredging and land reclamation works, ensuring efficiency, safety, and reliability in every application.
