Is the PD diagnostic quick connector plug cap, ISO 15171-1 compliant, compatible with standard hydraulic couplings and resistant to oils and fuels?

Yes. The PD diagnostic quick connector plug cap, ISO 15171-1 compliant Format is manufactured to ISO 15171-1 standards and is compatible with standard hydraulic couplings. Made from high-quality NBR, it provides excellent resistance to oils, fuels, and a wide range of hydraulic fluids, ensuring durable sealing and protection against contamination, leakage, and damage. It is easy to install and remove, offering a reliable solution for maintaining system integrity during downtime, transport, or storage.

Can the PD diagnostic quick connector plug cap, ISO 15171-1 compliant, withstand extreme temperatures and prolonged outdoor exposure without degrading its sealing performance?

Yes — the PD diagnostic quick connector plug cap, ISO 15171-1 compliant, is formulated to maintain sealing performance under demanding conditions. Made from high-quality NBR (nitrile rubber), it offers excellent resistance to oils, fuels and a wide range of hydraulic fluids, which helps prevent material breakdown when exposed to common hydrocarbon contaminants. NBR also provides good mechanical durability and retains elasticity across a typical operational temperature range encountered in hydraulic systems. However, NBR has inherent temperature and weathering limits: it performs very well in moderate to high temperatures typical for hydraulic equipment, but prolonged exposure to extreme heat beyond NBR’s rated range, direct UV radiation, ozone, or very low temperatures can gradually reduce elasticity and accelerate aging. For prolonged outdoor exposure in harsh climates (intense sunlight/UV, ozone, or sustained extreme cold/heat), additional protective measures (covers, storage out of direct sun, periodic inspection/replacement) are recommended to ensure long-term sealing integrity. In summary: the PD diagnostic quick connector plug cap, ISO 15171-1 compliant, will withstand typical extreme operating conditions encountered in hydraulic service and resists fluids well, but for prolonged outdoor exposure to severe UV, ozone or temperatures beyond standard NBR limits, take protective steps and plan for periodic inspection or replacement to preserve sealing performance.
