Is the Metric Brass Ring Set (Front & Rear) 10 pcs, M760LS compatible with LET‑LOK® type couplings and suitable for hydraulic and pneumatic systems?

Yes. The Metric Brass Ring Set (Front & Rear) 10 pcs, M760LS is explicitly described as a practical and reliable set of 10 precision‑made metric rings designed for seamless integration with LET‑LOK® type couplings. Made from high‑quality brass, they offer durability and corrosion resistance, and are engineered for secure, leak‑free connections with excellent mechanical strength and stability. The description specifically cites suitability for demanding applications in hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation, so they are appropriate for both hydraulic and pneumatic systems where LET‑LOK® type couplings are used.

Can the Metric Brass Ring Set (Front & Rear) 10 pcs, M760LS withstand exposure to aggressive fluids and extreme temperatures in hydraulic and pneumatic systems?

Metric Brass Ring Set (Front & Rear) 10 pcs, M760LS — short answer: partly. The rings are manufactured from high‑quality brass, which delivers good durability, excellent corrosion resistance in many environments, and reliable mechanical strength for demanding hydraulic and pneumatic coupling applications. Brass performs well with common hydraulic fluids (mineral oils, many lubricants) and in typical temperature ranges encountered in instrumentation and industrial pneumatics/hydraulics. However, brass has limitations: it is not universally resistant to aggressive chemicals (strong acids, alkalis, some solvents, and certain glycol/water mixtures can cause dezincification or accelerated corrosion). Extreme temperatures outside the normal service range for brass (very low cryogenic temps or sustained temperatures above typical brass limits — e.g., several hundred °C) can degrade mechanical properties and sealing performance. Recommendation: Metric Brass Ring Set (Front & Rear) 10 pcs, M760LS is appropriate for most standard hydraulic and pneumatic systems and moderate thermal conditions. For exposure to highly aggressive fluids or extreme temperatures, verify fluid compatibility and temperature limits with the supplier or choose rings made from specialized alloys or corrosion‑resistant materials (e.g., stainless steel, nickel alloys, or engineered polymers).
