The Heavy Duty clamp is a robust and reliable solution engineered for secure installation of rubber steam hoses with VSS, MSS, FSS, and SSF steam fittings. Available in sizes from 1/2” to 2” and manufactured in compliance with EN 14423 (DIN 2826), it guarantees precision and durability in demanding industrial environments. Depending on the version, screws and nuts are made of galvanized steel for brass clamps or stainless steel for stainless steel clamps, ensuring excellent resistance to wear and corrosion. The clamp must be carefully matched to the hose’s internal diameter and wall thickness, so that the external diameter of the mounted hose fits perfectly within the specified range, providing a safe and leak-free connection. For proper installation, preliminary tightening requires the use of long auxiliary screws. Manufactured from high-quality brass or AISI 316 stainless steel, the clamp withstands operating temperatures up to +230°C and ensures reliable performance at 18 bar pressure with saturated steam at +210°C.
