Lightweight and Flexible Chemical Hose, PLUTONE PK
Extremely lightweight and highly flexible, this suction and discharge hose is engineered for the safe and efficient transfer of a wide range of chemical substances. Manufactured from advanced thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV), it combines the easy processing of polypropylene with the durability and resilience of vulcanized EPDM rubber, ensuring excellent resistance to acids such as hydrochloric and sulfuric, bases, salts, alcohols, glycols, ketones, and concentrated detergents. Its robust construction, featuring a TPV inner and outer layer reinforced with a polyester braid and steel spiral, guarantees strength and reliability even in demanding conditions. Resistant to ozone, weathering, and aging, the hose maintains long-term performance while its low weight and small bending radius provide outstanding maneuverability, making it ideal for unloading tankers or handling containers. With a working pressure of 12–14 bar at +23°C (depending on diameter) and an operating temperature range from -30°C to +80°C, it offers versatile application possibilities. Each hose is clearly branded with its working pressure (WP 10 bar), and for confirmation of chemical compatibility and operating conditions, consultation with Tubes International is recommended. Not suitable for fuels, oils, or aromatic solvents.
