How does the ISO-B Quick-Connector Plug Cap, PVC, DRAGON protect hydraulic systems from dust and dirt during storage and transport?

The ISO-B Quick-Connector Plug Cap, PVC, DRAGON protects hydraulic systems from dust and dirt during storage and transport by providing a durable, form-fitting barrier that blocks contaminants from entering exposed quick-coupling interfaces. Made of tough PVC and finished in highly visible red, the plug cap snaps on easily for fast application and removal, ensuring connections stay sealed even in harsh handling conditions. By preventing ingress of dust, grit and moisture, it reduces the risk of abrasive wear, contamination-related malfunctions and costly downtime. Its robust construction offers long-lasting protection for workshops, industrial sites and mobile machinery, keeping hydraulic couplings clean, secure and ready for reliable service.

Can the ISO-B Quick-Connector Plug Cap, PVC, DRAGON withstand exposure to oils, solvents, and hydraulic fluids without degrading or losing its dust-proof properties?

ISO-B Quick-Connector Plug Cap, PVC, DRAGON is designed to provide dust- and dirt-proof protection for hydraulic connections. Made of durable PVC, it offers robust, long-lasting physical protection in workshops, industrial facilities and mobile machinery. However, standard PVC has limited chemical resistance: it resists many oils and greases but can be attacked or softened by certain solvents, strong hydraulic fluids with aggressive additives, and some petroleum distillates over time. Therefore, while the plug will protect against dust and common oils in routine use, it may degrade or lose sealing performance if repeatedly exposed to aggressive solvents or incompatible hydraulic fluids. For applications with frequent chemical exposure, prolonged immersion, or use of aggressive fluids, verify chemical compatibility with the fluid manufacturer or choose a plug made from a chemical-resistant material.
