90° butt-weld elbows made of durable carbon steel are designed for pressure applications and manufactured in accordance with EN 10253-2, equivalent to DIN 2605-1 type 3. Supplied with EN 10204 3.1 material certification, they ensure full traceability and reliability in demanding industrial environments. These fittings are widely applied in the construction of pipelines and installations, serving as essential components for welded angular ends of metal and rubber hoses, as well as for threaded, flanged, and other specialized connections. As standard type A fittings, they feature uniform wall thickness across the body and welding ends, with pressure resistance slightly lower than that of a straight pipe of the same size. The permissible working pressure, ranging from 71 to 262 bar depending on diameter, should be determined using the correction factors specified in EN 10253 or DIN 2605-1, typically between 0.7 and 0.8 of the pipe’s nominal pressure rating. In addition to the standard range, customized solutions are available on request, including elbows in alternative materials, metric dimensions, or designs compliant with ASME standards, providing flexibility for diverse project requirements and ensuring optimal performance in complex piping systems.
