Its opaque wall safeguards delicate media from UV exposure, while the hose itself demonstrates very low permeability to gases, minimal absorption of transferred substances, and excellent resistance to acids, bases, and oxidation. Certified to USP Class VI, ISO 10993, and NSF-51 standards, it is proven non-cytotoxic, non-hemolytic, and non-pyrogenic, making it ideal for applications such as diagnostics, vaccine production, sterile filling, fermentation, bioreactors, and cell culture. Designed for versatility, it withstands multiple sterilization methods including autoclaving, CIP/SIP cleaning, ethylene oxide, and gamma radiation, while also offering flame resistance (UL 94-HB).
