Can the Rubber Nozzle Kit, Series 208 be used safely on all delicate surfaces without scratching?

Rubber Nozzle Kit, Series 208 is designed specifically for use on delicate surfaces and aims to prevent scratches or damage. Its rubber construction and direct installation on the tube make it suitable for precision work and softer materials. However, no accessory can guarantee zero risk in every situation: factors such as surface finish, presence of debris or abrasive particles, applied pressure (working pressure up to 16 bar), movement or rubbing of the nozzle against the surface, and incorrect nozzle size can still cause marks. For safest use: - Choose the appropriate diameter (Ø 14, Ø 25, Ø 34) for the task to minimize contact stress. - Keep surfaces and nozzle clean from grit. - Use the lowest effective pressure and avoid scraping motions. - Test on an inconspicuous area when working with highly sensitive finishes. When these precautions are followed, Rubber Nozzle Kit, Series 208 provides a high level of protection for delicate surfaces but cannot be universally guaranteed scratch-proof in all conditions.

Are there specific surface materials or coatings where the Rubber Nozzle Kit, Series 208 should not be used to avoid damage?

Rubber Nozzle Kit, Series 208 is designed for delicate surfaces and provides protection from scratches or damage. However, avoid using it on surfaces where rubber or the nozzle coating could chemically react, stick, melt, or transfer residues. Specific materials/coatings to be cautious with: - Soft paints or recently painted surfaces that are not fully cured — risk of marking or lifting. - Solvent-sensitive plastics or polymers (e.g., some ABS, acrylics, polycarbonate variants) that may be softened or swollen by additives in the rubber. - High-gloss or mirror-polished metal finishes where any trapped debris between rubber and surface could create micro-scratches. - Surfaces with hot temperatures (above typical rubber service limits) — heat can soften or deform the nozzle and cause staining or transfer. - Delicate coatings with low scratch resistance (certain lacquered, clearcoat, or decorative finishes) — test first. - Surfaces requiring absolute chemical purity (e.g., semiconductor wafers, optical lenses) where any rubber particulate or residue is unacceptable. When in doubt, perform a small-area compatibility test before full use. Ensure surfaces are clean of abrasive contaminants and keep working pressure within the specified 16 bar to avoid excessive force.
